GSD 2000
What it does
GSD 2000 rescues unwanted, abandoned or badly-treated GSDs and re-homes them in suitable private homes. All animals are neutered. Any dog previously re-homed is accepted back into care at any time which ensures life-long security. Some older dogs may be placed in homes on a charity-assisted basis, meaning that some of their veterinary fees are funded by the Charity.
Its charitable purposes
TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING AND DISTRESS OF UNWANTED ABANDONED OR BADLY TREATED GERMAN SHEPHERD DOGS BY RESCUING AND RE-HOMING SUCH DOGS. THE CENTRE OF THE CHARITY'S ACTIVITIES WILL BE IN DEVON BUT WILL EXTEND TO CORNWALL, SOMERSET AND GLOUCESTER.
